Almond-Hazelnut-Sesame Nut Milk

Soak the almonds in water for at least 4 hours then rinse. Blend the almonds and water in a Vita-Mix and filter the mix with a nut milk bag into a large bowl. Be sure to extract the most milk possible from the bag before setting it aside.

Put the milk back into the Vita-Mix and add the vanilla and the sweetener that you choose for the recipe, whether that be the Agave, the maple sirop or the Medjool dates.

The milk will keep for a few days in the refrigerator. You can easily add it to your cereals, use it as the base of your smoothie or just as a refreshing drink. You can also vary this recipe by adding different flavours, such as the infamous raw cacao powder to give it a chocolate-like taste!

Hint: Soak your almonds throughout the night before you plan on making your nut milk recipe.
